360 Head Install

Getting ready to torque head bolts and remembered something about some bolts need thread sealer on them because of water jacket issues. If so which ones.

No head bolt enters the water jacket on a 360/AMC 304 .

However, the #7 bolt does on an amc inline 6.

However several intake manifold bolts do need sealer (two front and the two rear).

Maybe this should be a new thread, but what sealers do you use on a V8 intake gasket/valley pan/bolts,etc?

I have read three different opinions in the last 10 minutes...

Any good RVT high temp silicone sealer will do.
