Happy 4th!!!
I woke up and made a cup if coffee. Started my smoker. Threw my brisket on by 7am. Went to the parade and classic car show. Worked on the jeep all day. Smoked a brisket. Drank beer. Ate brisket. Drank beer. Lit fireworks. Watched fireworks. Drank beer.

I can't think of anything more AMERICAN than working on a 79 Golden Eagle . Drinking beer and smoking a brisket and fireworks.

Happy 4th!!

Got up this morning, finished up installing the rebuilt carb on the CJ. Removed the useless 1982 vacuum tubes and set up a 1975 system.

Tested the Jeep and stopped by another jeep friend and had a beer.

The jeep ran well, but I did notice that stepping on the gas HARD made the engine stumble. It was 100% during regular driving though.

Went to fire works.

Now I'm broiling up a nice rib eye. That is rare for me. A treat for the 4th. ..... oh yeah and a couple beers.

Similar theme. Worked on the CJ, grilled burgers, ate burgers, drank beer, watched fireworks, roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. Went to bed. Good day.
