Can anyone give me their opinion on this seat? Found one at a pic&pull. Would need to be recovered, but seems ok. Is it a rare thing to have? Anyone have one that would voice some feedback?
Thanks

:wtf: what did it come out of? do you have a pic?

Don't have the funny .gif but "this post is useless without pictures"

Oh and the sign is held up by women :)

A 60 / 40 bench seat is rather rare. Grab it and save it at the least.

Pics!

these show a ratty old shredded seat cover on them, but otherwise, they seem ok. couldn't break loose the rusted bolts today, gonna try again with some pb blaster. they are in an 1980 CJ5 .

got the drivers side seat out from the picknpull today. I'll have it re-covered and see about new foam. The passenger side couldn't be pulled as it was completly rusted through and the bolts couldn't be worked at all.

I've never seen a 60/40 bench seat in an 80's CJ5 . The seat brackets and skin look period correct. I would keep them!

I have a 60/40 bench seat in my 68 CJ5 , it also has a Ramsey PTO and the PTO shift is bent forward to accommodate for the bench seat.

Cut the floor around the seat bolts. You really need the other half! Rod

Thank you. A 60/40 bench seat is worthless without the /40. ;)

went back in the snow and rain today and got the passenger seat. unfortunately, the brackets/mounts were destroyed in the process. gonna have to look for replacements for them, should just be standard passenger seat mounts. any opinions?
thanks

I really want to get a set of these. I saw a set on ebay the other day front and rear with mounts in Virginia for $300. all shipping would have to be arranged by me. I checked and the quotes i got were over $300 for freight shipping. They are already gone. If anyone has a set or knows where to get one please Message me. Im new to the forum and new to jeeps but have a baby on the way so need the room for 5. Thanks Guys,
Taylor
