'73 CJ Windshield Install

I've got a new 2-piece windshield gasket that I need to install on new glass. Being that it's a '72-'75, I understand it's fairly easy but I can't find any instructions anywhere.

Any helpful info on how what goes where and how? Thanks!

Use Gojo to lube the gasket - lots of Gojo...

Spent a couple hours, with help, and still couldn't get the thing in. I'm taking it to a professional and hope to watch 'em do it.

Great write-up. I may give it another try. You think we could be able to do the same with the split gasket for our model years?

If I used some sealant between the gasket and window, it may stay on well enough. What do you think?
