Vitamin C is the color used from a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. My wife calls it Jon's Jeep cause my grandson loves it (He's 3!)
Finally got her out on the dunes last weekend (Silver lake State Park, MI)
I have almost 2 years of time and money in the rebuild. All new seats, top, tires, engine. Rebuilt suspension, new paint, all running gear. Added power steering, new clutch, and lots of custom made pieces. There is nothing that hasn't been rebuilt or modified!

This is what the engine looked like when I found it on CL

Rebuilt with 4.0 7120 head, Weber 38DGES carb, HEI, 95 Cherokee exhaust, Comp Cam 235 cam, lifters and timing chain. New fuel, water, oil pumps. 1 wire alternator.
Lock Rights in both diffs, 3:73 gears in the stock Dana 30 & 44. T-14 Transmission with new 2-3 gear assembly, synchros, bearings, seals and gaskets.
Poly bushings and HD shackles, Rough Country 9000 shocks.
I lowered the seat brackets 3-1/2" cause the new seats are thicker (taller) than the original seats. I cut the steering column 4" and added a Grant wheel. Used a later roll bar to protect the grandkids, but had to shorten the back bars to accomodate the new Bestop. Built a tire carrier that fits the trailer hitch for easy removal. Welded up all of the holes in the dash and added a new speedo assembly, switches, and indicator lights. H4 headlights and led taillights. A few SS parts. The Ford wheels were on the Jeep when I bought her...I like them! New stock brakes and parking brake cables.
The engine runs great! Much more power than the old AMC 232 i6 ! I drove her back to Michigan on Friday 200 miles. Got 19 mpg. Unbelievable! I am really looking forward to driving her this summer. This Jeep will never see snow while I have her. This will be a garage kept baby.:chug:
