79 CJ5 Proportioning valve

Need one. The guy at 4WD.com told me I had to use one specifically for my year. I can't seem to locate one anywhere.

Anyone have a clue where I can get one?

I just bought one for my '86 at 4WPW. They can be rebuilt also by some of the larger brake shops that cater to custom builts and hot rods.

For everything EXCEPT a 1979. I was told CJ5 used a ford proportioning valve that year.

Maybe purchase one for a 79 bronco and call it a day???

It is a drum, disk PV?? I think I would try another supplier, that doesn't sound right.
