Help 82 cj7 complete makeover

Had my jeep sitting for over 10 years plus, and am almost ready to start rebuilding. Planning on a new body, since mines is really bad in the rust department. Can I get some advice on where to source my parts from? Only place I been looking/know of is quadratec. Also I live in hawaii, so shipping is crazy.

Welcome. I source parts from a wide variety of places. I would say it depends on what you are looking for. A lot of engine and chassis I use napa some. I hunt for some used original parts that are good when possible. The internet makes it easier now. Decades back JC Whitney and other catalogs, but those are now extinct.

Definitely anybody tub, once I start the teardown, will see if I also need a new frame. Hope I'm not getting in over my head, lol.

And if they ship them at all. I ordered two body panels from them in January, last week I canceled the order as it has been crickets from them since I placed the order. I ended up fabbing the panels I needed.
