Both my original locking hubs died a long time ago. The two installed right now are spares folks had available that I swapped on the trail. Time for some new ones. What’s the verdict these days in a good locking hub? There use to be Warn and MileMarker. Now I see a G2 brand out there.

Thanks fir any input. G

As mentioned, Warn, Milemarker and Superwinch are good brands. I've heard of G2, but can not speak to the quality either way

Mile marker seems to be all the rage right now. Whether they are that much better then the others? i don't know. Warn and G2 are owned by Transamerican Auto Parts. Along with Rubicon Exp, Pro comp, Smittybuilt, 4wheel parts, and a few others. Whether they swap parts/share info, and is a G2 hub the same as a Warn hub with G2 stamped on it. who knows. Everything is a big secret now a days until you get the box and inside is a little piece of paper that says made in china stashed away in it somewhere. Mile marker claims made with US materials which leads me to believe assembled in mexico or canada. i know Warn out sources some stuff to china, but like i said, who knows they could be out sourcing it all now...
