85 CJ7 Eating rear axle bearings
I'm already there on that PetesCJ. I am actually going to ask if I can either observe or get myself right in there and help. I will have everything laid out in black and white and will stress the importance of the preload adjustments. It isn't that I am not a wrencher and haven't done my share of own repairs but there are times when you don't have the time to get at it yourself. Sometimes life just gets in the way. This is my first Jeep and wouldn't have known the difference in rear ends myself. Thanks to you guys/girls at this site I have been getting a good education on the CJ, at least the rear end workings so far. Thanks to you all,
