Isnt it awesome Just Empty Every Pocket :chug:

Nice progress. Mines not moving nearly as fast. Curious...does it have a lift on it now that you are replacing or is the 2.5" lift a new addition?
Thanks 74G, I know the feeling on wanting to get everything done right now. I want to to move faster but it is not going to happen, too many other responsibilities.

Right now the jeep has no lift, it was bone stock when I bought it. I will be doing the YJ to CJ spring conversion. The wife got me 4 YJ 2.5 inch OME heavy springs for Christmas. Now I am gathering all the other necessary parts. I bought the Crabtree shackle hangers but still need shocks, YJ leaf spring plates, bushings, extended brake lines and new shackles. it's gonna a be a couple of months before I can get it all together and install it.

Updates:

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted anything. I have made a little progress. I am still in the process of gathering all the components for my lift, this was next on my list:

Crabtree Shackle Hangers

They are pricey but I think they will be worth it. I am doing the yj spring conversion and I did not want to grind and punch out that front rivet, with these I wont have to.

I also got some SS braided brake line extensions, and while I was at it I went ahead and put on new calipers to:

I had mortal combat with the brake lines, they were froze on there good. I used a lot of PB Blaster and heat and finally got all but one line to brake free. I had to cut the line and then replace and repair the one on the passenger side. Once that was done it was time for the rear brakes. Bought all new hardware and drums.

The master cylinder was leaking so I replaced it and the brake booster at the same time.

I now have pretty much a new brake system with the exception of the hard lines, I may end up replacing those when I pull the tub.

I also bought a new radiator today. The one I had could not be repaired so I had to shell out the dough for a new one. I did not take any pictures of that as it is nothing fancy.

Next up on my list is the steering column, it is wobbly where the tilt is. I opened it up and took a look and decided I would take the whole thing to a column repair shop, it looked to complicated to me. I should have it back in time to install it this weekend.
