I replaced the frame on my 86 CJ7 (YJ tube was last rebuild) This time I added a 1 1/4" body lift. I had to drop the rad. and drop the clutch bracket. Now I find the fuel fill and return are too short. It's a 20 gallon tank. Can I use a fill tube and return form another Jeep? The 15 gallen looks longer.

CJ8 filler & vent hoses are longer.
I would think you could cut them down to fit your application.

Looking at the 4WD book a CJ8 has a 1" fill My 86 CJ7 withy 20 gallon tank has a 1 1/4" inside diameter fill.

I've seen a lot of people cut the hose and put a short piece of plastic tube in with some hose clamps.

Yes I have heard that and may go that way.
