A favor?
Yep...the new price increases have forced my hand too. I smoke the cheapest things on the shelves....two months ago they were $2.65, then they went up to $3.50....add another 60 cents on that and we've passed the budget line on my habit. I predict that soon there will be some very irritable floating around the forums.
I send luck to all who will cease that nasty-azzed habit! I can't stand that smell, it gets all over everything, even after the person is long gone!
Not to mention the $$dollar bills$$ literally going up in SMOKE!
Is this helping you stay motivated? I hope it is! If you need more help, I can dig up the old pics I had of "smoker's lungs". You ain't seen nasty till you see those and realize thats whats going on inside your body!
My fathers side of the family lives forever regardless of how crappy they treat their bodies (we're talking redneck, hillbillie moonshiners from way back). Moms side of the family has gone quick (except for grannie who drank alot and we sort of figured her insides were pickled...she was an illegal alien from Canada too so maybe that had something to do with it). Mom and grandpa went young but that was mostly because of early radiation poisoning back when nobody was smart enough to keep the stuff contained (Gramps worked on the first bomb along with the first power plant). Even more weird is that Gramps entire family was wiped out by bad canned food back in 1908..Gramps was about 13 then. I've currently outlived all moms side of the family..well except for the drunk grandmother.BUT back to the lung thing. My aunt died from lung cancer. She had worked for a cleaning business. She cleaned banks, and the courthouse. The 'professional' cleaners that they used were the cause of her cancer. And one of the spouses (Stan's) cousins dies from lung cancer when he was 31. Ever read the can of brake cleaner or carb cleaner? It now says "can cause cancer." He was a mechanic.
