A hell of a storm...

We had one hell of a storm last night. Spawned a couple of tornadoes in our area, one just a few miles from my home.

Here are a few of the lightning pics out my front window that were caught by my motion activated camera. It was a very intense series of storms!

LOL - Thanks, at about 12 when it first hit, both cats were right next to me. I figured there was nothing I could really do (I wasn't in the mood to go lay in a ditch), so I just rolled over and went back to sleep!

I never gave an update after the initial post but the storm did spawn a few tornado's. One did some pretty heavy damage to the south side of our town. Luckily - no one was killed but a school was damaged as well as some homes.

Take a look at the pictures and you can see the storm path pretty well. The house in 'picture 2' with the camper behind it is one of my coworkers.

Wow! We are getting one hell of a bunch of bad weather again.
