I've been on this forum for a while and everyones asked to see a picture of my jeep. Well here it is. In the near future Im plannin on putting in a new timing set, and in the far future or if they break, Im gonna up grade to one piece axles, rear first, then the front, then a new front driveshaft, because its pretty much shot. Its a pretty rough ride now, I think it has a rough country lift on it, if I changed the shocks out for some rancho 5000's do you think this will help. Or is the answer to this question "its a jeep?"

Thanks guys, Ive learned so much on this forum, I love working on my jeep when things go as planned, and I plan on doing much more. All I need is time and money...

Thank you guys for the replies. I'm just glad its running as good as it is.

I dont think changing out the shocks will help your ride much. The on going joke is that "rough country" lifts are named that for a reason. Your probably dealing more with spring rate than anything else.

Unless that paint job is alot rougher than it looks in the pic I would hold off on a repaint as long as possible. Looks good here. :chug:

Pete I totally understand what you mean about the paint, its got that awesome classic 80s look. The paint has a lot of spider cracks in it, plus most of the rear end has painted to cover filled in holes and what not. I wanted to take the windshield and mount off as well and address any issues their. Plus its a jeep and it leaks from the windshield area and i was hoping some new gaskets and sealant would solve that issue. I know I don't have to paint it but that will be a good time to sees any trouble areas. Plus I already bought the paint. Ha
