Those are small planes. I'm used to the bigger ones that are built at the Renton Boeing plant where I work.

Awesome pics CJ! What a great experience to get to fly in one as well!! Only thing that might top that is if they let you fire the 50's in flight ;)

When I was in A&P school I got to see the Memphis Belle while she in restoration at the Naval air station in Memphis very cool :chug:

Thanks! The original 'Belle' is still under restoration but is now at the National Museum of the USAF at Wright-Patterson in Ohio. The B-17 I flew on is a combat plane that was repainted to look like the Belle for the movies - still was a great time!

And here I thought you were gonna say you met Sarah Palin! :)

Pretty cool pics. Bet it was an awesome experience. :chug:

Very cool CJ - I watched your videos on Youtube - good job! I really like planes like this but am not a fan of flying myself and would be unpleasant flying company due to motion sickness...:(...

But very, very cool and glad you had a great day!

That's awesome! My grandpa fired one of those 50 cals in a B-29 in WWII. Grandpa didn't talk much about it but my dad has been able to piece together some information after he died.

Thanks for that CJ, to think bits and pieces of those things are scattered all over the world.
