1980 CJ7-258 I6, MC 2100 carb, team rush upgrade, T4, D300 tcase, D30 w/aussie locker in the front, AMC20 open, I think PO put 4.88s in the diffs, 35,000-135,000 miles, you pick. 4"susp lift, 2" shackle, 35" <-BAD WORD-> cepek AT's on black steel wheels, 1 1/4" spydertrak wheel spacers, most everything else i believe is stock, finding things out as I go
Like I said, it's time do a break overhaul on my 1980 CJ7 with a stock Dana 30 and AMC20 . How do I figure out if I need 2 or 6 bolt pads? How thick are the disks? I am pretty sure sure that the rear drums are 11 inches but can anyone confirm this. Last question, my E brake cable ends at the "split" underneath the drivers seat. The I bought the cables I needed to hook up the cables to the drums but I can't figure out where they connect to, and or if I'm missing any brackets, and could anyone post a pic of an E. Break set up?

You're cable connects to item #9.

2-bolt caliper mount

The 6-bolt caliper mount has thicker rotors -1.125"
 
The 2bolt caliper bracket mounts to the rear on knuckle. The 6bolts mounts to the 6 studs the hold the spindle on.

Just a word of advice about doing brakes. Rotors and pads are fairly straight forward. However, when installing the new pads make sure you compress the calipers correctly, use a caliper compression tool, it'll make the job a lot simpler.

Also, when working on the rear drum brakes, get yourself a tool kit. You can do drums with a screwdriver and a prybar, but it's a PITA.

One more thing to add, when you're doing the drums, replace one side at a time. All of the "little parts" can get a little confusing, that way you have the other side still assembled to use as a reference :chug:
 
This is the only pic I have, you can kinda see the piece the e brake cable hooks to under the shoe on the left side.
