1985 CJ-7 stripped, stolen recovery...
partial 4.2L 258ci
1990 Ford Bronco 5.8L
I saw one of these for a Bronco and did some searching around but havent found anything for a CJ7 .
Essentially it looks like itll mount in place of the A/C compressor and just run a pulley to prevent having to remount altenator.
I am looking for one for the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l if anyone has seen one please let me know where.

Looks like you just need a shorter belt, if this ressembles yours.

Oops, I see this is a TJ diagram although I searched CJ.
Same idea may hold though and if it's not serpintine then a shorter V belt may work.
I know there are many dif scenarios depending on what combination you have and some things move to dif. spots when another is added.
