Description says for 1981 up. If it will fit a 1980 I would order one.

Does it look like your current one? I have never seen a CJ with that spring. Most just have a universal. Unfortunately, since we all own old Jeeps we usually have to adapt... Heck, it's only $6 @ Summit...

Mine is an 84 CJ7 . I have no spring there.

After more disassembly. I found pieces of the spring. Looks like the Crown spring. Gulp. Ordered one on am-zon
