Once again, the PO of my CJ has put it to me, I put it on the road today only to feel it locking up when turning. I put it on the lift and pulled the rear end cover off to find that the PO "welded" my carrier.... Now I have metal chunks missing from it. I cleaned it up and got the metal out so it acutally will roll if need be but I now have to replace the carrier assembly. I do not plan on hitting any mud or heavy rock trails, so a locking diff isnt as important as cost at this point. I have an AMC20 rear end with 4.56 gears and 37 inch tires. Does anyone know where I can find a cheap carrier so I can get this thing rolling??
Thank you in advance. :chug:

I have a trac-loc carrier you can have, problem is I'm in Ca.

I found mine at AMC 4x4 salvage here in Phx but also try texomajeeps.com. mylittlecj5 is the owner and a member here.

*edit I also had a trac loc I gave away not long ago. See what it would run to ship the one from sasquatch. Would be better than open.
