Hey, everything's backwards. :) Yes, I see your from across the sea where my ancestors came from. Irish and Scotch blood runs in these veins of mine. I'm thinkin' you probably have a little trouble stopping with that Jeep. ......

When I dropped in my 360 it still had the York Air ompressor on it so seeing this thread is timely. The manifold is nice and professional looking, I like it. The big yellow hose ..... well ..... I'm sure it works very well.

The tank? Is that just a small Oxygen bottle? One line going in with the same line going out. Did you use a simple "T" to branch the "air in" side into the "air out" side? I always thought of a tank with mulitple ports, now I'm saking myself , "Why." A tank is really just a wide spot in the line/hose. I like it.

Nice job IRSHCJ6, and yanks for the great picks. :D Rod

Thanks for the comments, I'm not Irish though I'm from New Zealand but my wife is Irish. No problems stopping the Jeep as it has discs all round, an SSBC disc conversion on the front and a Nissan/Suzuki setup on the rear, oh unless you mean the missing master cylinder, yes that is out as I've a replacement one going in.

When I looked into the requirements of the manifold I decided it was cheaper for me to make one than buy one as I have access to lathes and milling equipment. I then just made up a bracket to go underneath to support it but it also houses a waterproof switch. I like it too as I think it looks neat and tidy. As for the big yellow hoses, these weren't my first choice but all they had in a heavy duty hose, they only run through the engine compartment and drop down in strength once through into the cab as the are fully protected and I decided it wasn't needed.

The tank is actually a commercial sized CO2 aluminium fire extinguisher bottle that I've drilled and tapped to suit, they have massive walls on them so ideal as a air tank, they are also a rated pressure vessel. Yes there is an inlet and outlet to the bottle as well as a drain point. You can't see the inlet as it's further back and underneath. The reason I have the tank is I have a dump valve on it that allows my to dump all the air in one go to seat a bead should I knock one off. Handy bonus in my design, not sure if its enough but hey that's trail and error for you.
