I have a CJ7 I just bought with a fiberglass Tub. Everything works believe it or not. I had to fix very few things, the radio and parking lights were a few.
But now I want to add grounding blocks, one under the hood and one under the dash. Also Have to change most of the grounds as they are dry rotted or bare or just ran to the frame.
Buying a small roll at the local auto store is just to expensive, what gauge wire for just lights and such? Also what kind of connectors do most use. I want to buy larger rolls on-line of a few colors.
I am anal about things so this has to work properly as well as look nice.:)

Since you have a glass body and everything works well, you must have a ground system already. The main advantage of adding extra grounds to the CJ is by passing the use of the steel body and frame ground connections since they are poor conductors of electricity.

Yes everything does work now but there are wires EVERYPLACE. They have a heavy battery type wire from the battery then to the block then to the frame. Also there are half dozen other wires connected to the N battery post, some wires under the Jeep are also grounded to the frame.
Just want everything nice is all.:D

One other thing. While getting all the lights and such working the connectors are all either melted or dry rotted. Where can I get the connectors for the tail lights, headlights and parking lights?

Connectors are available online, at an auto parts, or an electrical parts outfit. When working with a CJ electrical system, I would suggest an electrical schematic drawing so the you can see where everything was originally and how modifications were made.
