I use the floor mounted dimmer switch to cut off fuel and make the fuel gauge read empty. It will start & run, but not for long.
This would be excellent in a car jacking situation... as you exit, tap the switch with your foot. After it quits he will realize it just ran out of gas & start running. Simply walk half a block & get your Jeep back.

If a car jacker cant start it in a few minutes, I don't think he's not going spend the time looking under the hood in the middle of the night to hotwire it. Anti-Theft devices is all about making things a little harder, so he says screw it, and steals a 89 honda civic down the street instead.
