Any comments on the Pertronix Ignitor Ignition System

I 'm thinking of installing a Pertronix Ignitor Ignition System om my 73 CJ5 and was wondering if anyone has some useful feedback on this as far as ease to install and if it has actually helped your Jeep. Thank you for any help.

Been running one in my Delco equipped 225 V-6 powered '71 for about six years without issue. Recommend ensuring your distro is in good shape to begin with primarily pertaining to end play in the shaft. The kit should come with shims to help with that as there is a specified amount of acceptable movement upon installation. Start to finish less than two hours once you open the hood...

why buy the $100 Pertronix when you can replace the dizzy with a new replacement from a '88 grand Wagoneer that has a magnetic pickup already in it for about $50?
