I would say no lift with a 31-10.5 tires.

Agree, no lift, but I'd say no bigger than 30"

I just upgraded from 30 X 9.5 to 31 X 10.5. They look 30 X 9.5 to me

The more I look at it I think you are right. I have the 31's on my '84 and 30's on my '78 and they look more like the '78.
