Anybody work nights?

Anybody work nights?
Waggie bumpers and just some vintage stuff(early gauge cluster, original tool kit, and some other stuff :D)

Now that's the kinda waggy I want to build

To be honest, I don't remember. I sent BJ's Offroad an email. I'm pretty sure I could use factory mounts from a FSJ with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , but I don't know where to get them.

If i remember right, my cj's are bolt on, and if I wanted to put a AMC 304 ,360, or 401 in it, I just need to move them to the factory v8 location. All via bolts.

Gert would know best, his Cj has a 360 he swapped in

I wanted the 79 b/c of my birth year, but I like the older 3 piece bumpers and gladiator grille..........it'll have a more modern drivetrain(still Jeep though) :D

That would be even better. He went opposite of what I plan :D

I like that you are keeping it in the family motor wise

I've had 4(5 when the Waggie gets one) Jeeps with the inline 6. I just like that motor. With a 4.0/AW4/231, 4" lift and 31's........the Waggie will be more than perfect for what I want out of it.

It's a good motor, my Cj has the carb'ed version. Lol

I know I honestly didn't realize how easy the motor mount deal was. I think when this AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l goes, it's amc v8 time.

I'm not sure this is 100% correct but I heard a lot of the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l 's wiring harness would work with the amc v8 too

The guy that bought the 360 out of my parts 78 threw it in a 74/5 CJ5 . I don't remember if he had the AMC 304 or not.

My CJ7 had the carb'd AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , the other 3 were 2 GC's and the TJ. My folks' had a XJ and 2 GC's with that motor, so I've been around it a long time :D......well since 93 when they got their first one.

Mine almost got a 360, but the guy stopped answering my messages. I'm very happy with the motor I got though. She ran good in that 77.. I even did a couple cold start test on it.. Let it sit for a week or so. It always fired right up. Hope it does the same in my 81.

They bought the 93 XJ new

My first vehicle was a 93 xj. It was a white sport model. Power windows and locks. 4.0HO, auto. I miss that jeep. Sold it and got my YJ, which I also miss lol

Did they buy the 93 grand new?

I got a few hours I between feelings the wife thinks he has acid reflux because he won't sleep all night and is whinny, not sure on mounts I bought aftermarket ones that are junk either going to buy more motor mounts or build my own that bolts in, couldn't find factory v8 mounts back in the day

I wish I would have known a few months ago. Especially if the factory FSJ ones are bolt in and would've worked. I left them on the parts 78 when it went to the scraper. Hell, if I have to buy new mounts and the factory ones will work and are bolt in, I'll have the set out of my 79.

No kidding, it was white and everything?

Yup. It was just like this but without the fog lights.

Dude! Mine was just like that, but a black grill and gray seats. Had the same wheels though. The lady bought it brand new at a small town dealership. And then thought 98k miles was getting to high so she traded it in on a new KJ.
