Anybody work nights?

Anybody work nights?
Yeah I remember you telling me that. I wanted a roof top tent for my 4 door. But with a family of 4... I just think a small class c will be loads comfy and be able to flat tow one of the Jeeps if need be.

I have read that the diesel options if available is the way to go

If available they have higher torque and better fuel economy

I have mostly been looking at couple year old ones with the v10. Would like to find one with the e450 chassis around 25 feet long.

I doubt I could afford a diesel lol

Heck yes they are lol

Do you have a cool garden tractor?

I used to have a Murray, drive the :dung: out of that thing til it finally died, I live on a 60-100 lot so I have a push mower, have always thought it would be neat to have one of the old Ford tractors tho

*edit* well I am at work lol

Lol ya I'm at work, dreaming about getting my Transmission installed soon, I am pondering pulling the body and working on axles brakes motor mounts Transmission mounts and gas tank, I think my son is going to enjoy helping I had him under the Jeep today while I was measuring the clutch for the throw out bearing, he was just staring at everything under there

Nope, planning on one with a gambrel roof. The sheds that homedepot and lowes sells you can see their material lists and assembly instructions so that's the route I'm going, just need to get the rest of my materials, I want to do the hardy siding and solar boards for the roof

I'm wanting to do one that I can store the cj in when need be. I have never built one before so I didn't know how hard it would be.

If you have basic carpentry skills you will be fine, look on line for a plan you like and go for it, my dad had a friend years ago that couldn't have a permanent structure on his lot so he built a wood floor shed big enough for his truck with doubled up 2x12s and 2 layers of 3/4 plywood for the floor, not sure how well it worked out but there was no bounce in that floor

Yeah we have a couple years yet before we gotta do this. So I figured I would pick up a carpentry book and read.

You will need to find out if your city/ county will let you put a permanent structure up or not and how big you can build and then go from there. I can't have a permanent structure so my shed has to sit on concrete blocks above ground
