Anybody work nights?
Holy :dung: man! Did you recently get a second wind and start working on the Cj or have you been tinkering with it here and there?

Life has gotten in the way to much so I'm on my 3rd or 4th wind lol

Yeah I have taken little breaks here there from mine. What do you think man, should I stick with the stock hubs my 81 or swap it over to the warn's that came off my 77?

I have a good job and it's time to get this thing done, I'm going to rob the calipers and brackets off the Dana 30 to go on the rear of my Dodge 9.25 so I will have 4 wheel disc brakes

Well I like warns and I hear jeep guys rave about the 6 bolt hubs so if they are in good shape go for it

That's what I'm thinking, once I get my radiator and stuff it will be time to start tackling brakes and hub stuff..

Yep sure does, what ever inline six I had in my jeep was a dog and I couldn't find any 304s. So a 360 it got from a 79 waggy

I think what has helped with mine is I have never actually been able to drive it. It arrived at my garage broken lol that and I see it every time I walk out to the garage which is right off the family room.

NV4500 Dana 300 4 to 1 which I can't install because my PO put early gears in a late Transmission and they don't interchange

Twin sticks! I thought about putting 4:1 in my 300. But I think I'm gonna play with it in stock form first.

Ya I should have kept driving mine and get parts installed as I went but you look way closer to driving than me

Mine needs the whole brake system redone, a radiator, heater core, gonna put a new blower motor in it while the box is out. I'm sure the carb needs work but I'm thinking about ditching the stock one.

Your way close to driving. heater core and Chevy blazer heater blower motor is pretty cheap and neither of those stop you from driving radiator to to expensive either

Get it driving , enjoy it , save your money and put the 4 to 1 in later I have a strong v8 so I have the 32 spline out puts and 1350 yokes so it cost me almost as much as an engine rebuild the biggest regret I have is I haven't driven mine in 12 years

It's cool you have held onto it all these years though and haven't given up on it.

I thought you were going to bed? Lol
