Anyone installed CJ bumperettes?

I got 2 SS bumperettes out of the box for a good deal - but the holes are too far apart. They are labeled from the store with the correct Omix part number for a CJ...but the holes are about 10" apart. The holes for the ones mounted there now are about 6" apart.

Are these wrong or will they bend to fit? They are pretty stout. I can't believe I'll be able to bend them 4" to fit.

Anyone run into this in their adventures? Thanks!

Parts from Omix are usually dead on
see if they have a specific year or something, go to the site and cross reference them

I put some bumperettes on my '86 when I had it. I recall I had to adjust (i.e. bend) them to make them fit.
