1978 Jeep CJ-5 "Levi's" edition, original AMC 304 V8, T-150 transmission, Dana 20 transfer case, AMC 20 rear end. All stock except for a hotter ignition.
A reconditioned or new heater box assembly for my 78 CJ5 ? There's gotta be a source because everyone I know with an older CJ has had problems with theirs. I saw a new one for a 87-93?? Wrangler and it looked almost identical but I'm not sure it'll fit. Any suggestions?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Some have gone after market: the Mojave heater & plenum.
Suppose to work better than stock.
I can't vouch for it though as my stocker is still working fine.;)

Thanks for the tips guys. Has anyone seen the Mojave heater installed in a CJ? Do you remove the O.E. set up and replace it with the Mojave?

Also, I found this heater assembly for an 87-95 Wrangler. It looks like the old CJ unit. Anyone know the dimensions? Think it would swap right in?

87-95 Wrangler is the same size as a CJ7 it should work.
