Pete, the pic that is missing in my signature is one that I deleted out of my gallery. I did not realize that it would affect the sig pic and I recently added another.

Torx, that trestle is amazing! I might brave contact with other humans to see that in person

If you are going to go that far, I would suggest checking for the trailhead location, camping, and hiking info. The trail does require some steep ups and downs, I have attempted it twice and will go again. Another alternative is through the San Diego Railway Museum who has a tour package coming up from the south. You might want to check its history on the net, it was called the "Impossible railroad".

We had a smaller but none the less impressive tressel made entirely of wood south of Tucson. I took a bunch of pictures of it ..... then someone burned it to the ground. I don't know how old the thing was, but mainline east west rail ran it every day. Nice pictures thanks for sharing.
