1966 Tuxedo Park Mark IV CJ5, V6, Hardtop and doors, Dual gas tanks, Bucket seats, Rear seat, Padded rear fenders, Dual spotlights, Winch
Hi...I recently traded for a 1966 Tuxedo Park Park MarkIV CJ5 . It is in fair condition and has lots of extras...bucket seats, rear seat, Dual spotlights, Rear dual padded fenders, Direct drive, hard top w/ doors, Winch, dual gas tanks. We were just wondering what approx. worth might be on this vehicle? This is the first CJ5 we have owned...Would appreciate any discussion on this! Thank you!:)

Pictures would help. :D DIRECT DRIVE

a few things

first, where are you at
second, do people there know what a tux park is?
third how much of the tux park package is left on the jeep, what I mean is you can call a lot of things something, but is it really that, in 66 they had a unique serial number, what is yours?
4th, Jeeps do not command much money and the tux park package is only collectable to a jeep collector, most guys who own one could care less.

My guess is it is worth between 2500 and 4500 depending on the shape of the body, add another 5 to 7 hundred if it has original drive line and that works well, if it has not been lifted that is another grand, subtract 500 if it has.
I would say if every piece of the Tuxedo Park Park package is there and no one has to find any part including wheels and hub caps, add another 2500, if stuff like the hubcaps are missing, if it no longer is a steering column shift, if the hood markers are gone, do not bother adding anything, it is just a jeep that is called something.

so that thing is worth between 2500 in bad shape and running
to
7500 as it came from the factory with all badging.

Kind of like finding a late 60s Olds 442 with no 442 badging, with the wrong engine.

:chug:

remember, if it is going to be represented as an Tux Park, it is only collectable as a factory example, there are a plethora of those running around with no tux park pieces on them or just one or 2 of the badging.

Hi...I will be adding pictures and serial numbers soon. Everyone have a very Merry Christmas!!

The serial number on this vehicle is 8322-A16123. Toledo, Ohio. 3 speed on the floor w/ over drive shifter and another shifter for hi and low gears. Will add pics later. Does this info help any? Thanks!
