Hello, I'm new here. I'm looking for a nice CJ and do not mind spending an amount of money on one, as long as it isn't way overly priced. These are the ones that I really like. But, are they way overpriced? They are all in great condition and most with new paint jobs/rebuilt inline 6's etc. I like the look of an aftermarket built CJ. What are your thoughts on these?

By the way, the prices I have listed with each of them are bottom dollar prices. The prices on the ad are the first asking price and what I have listed is the lowest they said they would go.

IMHO the frist one for 7750 looks like the best one.
The pics aren't as good as the other 3 though.
The other 3 have bad looking lifts to me. (super long shackles and/or
to tall springs with bad shackle angles.)

Yea I've looked at alot of jeeps and if you wanting a good one, that looks like the best bang for the buck. I bought a fixer uper and it was definitely a fixer. Just depends on if you want to buy what someone else built or if you want to build your own. The first one def. looks good and price seems fair.

I just found out that the first one was sold last week. Dang! Well, I really like the second one, but am nervous about a shackle lift. He said it has a small shackle lift on it to clear the 33's. It also has about 2 inches of rust on the windshield frame, which was painted over when the jeep was painted. I don't think it is a huge deal. But, what is everyone's opinion on it? $8,500 too much for it?

New paint scares me you sad they painted over rust in the w/s frame. I would be wondering how much more is under there. I would be looking at the cheapest one it being a 86 it should have a Dana 44 rear. And the less you spend to get it the more $ you will have to put into it

I always hate the "new" thing when it comes to paint or any of the drivetrain. I'd rather it not be a rebuild either, I'd rather have to fix it myself. That way I know for sure what I'm getting.

Yeah I was kinda weary with the little rust, because that could mean more is hidden. I've got one more that I've found to show...it seems like a decent price but just needs the steering taken apart to be tightened...is that a big deal or a lot of work? It also needs a paint job which can be done for less than $1,500. If I could get it with the top and all for $5,000, is that a decent deal for this CJ? Thanks for all the help everyone
