Axle rebuild labor cost

Hi guys,

What is a fair price to expect to pay to have new R&P and new seals all installed in the rear?

Also any references in Chicago or NW or central Indiana would be helpful.

My local Jeep shop told me per axle $300 labor + parts and that could be up to $400 for a total of $700

$300 labor, per axle, is pretty normal. friend of mine just got a quote to do his about a month ago, after he got the quote, he ended up talking me into doing them.......

Good deal thanks guys, considering the tools and experience it takes to do it right and quickly that seems fair.

I imagine I could get it cheaper if I delivered just the axles?
