If you like wheeling through mud or water crossings, you're U-Joints have likely seen better days. Breaking U-Joints is never fun but at least you now have a better choice of replacement U-Joints now that Mopar has just announced the launch of it's new line of greasable U-Joints for Jeep vehicles and Ram trucks!
The greasable U-joints feature cold-formed bearing cups that are case hardened, use flush lube fittings in the bearing cups for wheel axle joints for easy access and increased cross strength. The wheel axle joints also feature a Microshield coating to protect against rust and corrosion for those who venture out into mud.
The Mopar Greasable U-joints are designed with radial grease grooves that are formed in the bottom of the bearing cups to ensure even grease distribution to the needle bearings. For heavy duty applications, Mopar also includes cross trunnions with enlarged grease reservoirs, a thrust washer design that absorbs axial loads as well as anti-drainback features to help prevent dry start-up – which is perfect off road enthusiasts since we all likely go through U-joints at least every other year if not more.
The Mopar Greasable U-Joints also use O.E. quality and performance needle bearings, snap rings and steel forgings made in the USA!
