What is the optimum highway RPM for highway driving in a CJ7 with a GM 151 Iron Duke engine?

Assuming a stock GM 151 with stock tires and profile...Mine (many years back)seemed to like 2800 to 3200 as a nice happy place. My old (lean/rich) vacuum gauge read consistently in the green there, but started dropping off of ideal as I went faster. Oh, and that's with either no wind or with it at your back.

Behind a semi or with a good tailwind 3500 was very strong!

But seriously, I couldn't find the rated cam spec, BUT...the practical answer will depend upon how you drive and equip it. Just gear it so that whatever you have for tires puts you around 2500 - 3000 rpm at road speed (65).
