ON THE HUNT AGAIN
lol most of the parts for the new jeeps are made there as well.

Add a few more americans to the out of work list.

I left them a "question"

"Know anyone who makes good Jeep tops and accesories in the USA? I certainly won't be buying stuff made in Mexico."

 Not that I condone their actions, but the real problem is being completely ignored. The fact that they are moving to Mexico is no doubt the result of increased taxes, which will continue going up. Instead of getting mad at a company, since their sole purpose is to make a profit, get mad at our tax system. You will continue to see companies consider foreign soil for production as long as we punish them for doing business.

By the way, this was not aimed at the OP, I just felt like venting about the careless spending of our government, current and past administrations alike.

Ok, I feel better! :)

They can fight the system just like we can.

Again, I don't agree with their decision, but I can understand it. Individuals pay enough taxes and businesses pay even more.

Now, that said, I probably won't buy their products either. Our economy needs the boost of American goods and products, not imported Mexican Jeep products!

Does anyone know of a US made top? I need a new bikini for old Rust Bucket.

I guess bestop really doesn't give a :dung: anymore. I riped my top on a tree last weekend so, I went to there web site to see if they made a repair kit. I couldn't fine anything so I sent them a message through thier site monday night. Well it's now sat and I have heard nothing from them.
This just gave me even more reason not to buy anything else from them.
This is really to bad because they made a good product.

I have to agree, as much as it pains me to do so. The Government of the United states has made it nearly impossible for smaller companies to stay in business. While I hate to see more business go over the border, and More Americans lose their jobs, I fully understand that at one point, it took blood guts and moneyto start that business, and they have the right to do what is necessary to safeguard their investment. Blame the SOB's sitting in washington for creating a system that is hostile to business, and has been responsible for crushing countless numbers of them to their financial deaths. If we ever want to see these businesses come home, better start flushing the toilet known as Washington that wants to strangle and steal, rather than nurture our free market way of life.

I guess it's all how you look at it. I see a co. thats looking for cheap labor and cheap parts. The price that you and I pay for the product will not go down. To me thats just co. greed.

These just seem to be appropriate for this thread!!!!!!!!
