Is it a griddle?

I’d like your opinion and how you like it.

Griddles work especially well for thin cuts. And if you get the hang of it, just about any cut. The trick is that it must be brought up to very hot temperatures and cooking time accuracy. The best tacos are made this way.

Yes it is. That griddle plate is where the extra weight comes from. Most of our meats are made right over the campfire. This was mainly for my breakfast cravings. I can see tacos for sure. I also like the idea of a quick sear on cuts out of the smoker.

Yeah I was already looking. I never used a cast iron skillet and neither did Vicki.
You can tell I like them. Use on Coleman stoves or campfire if needed. Great for frying fish or chicken or shrimp on back porch. Love them best for steaks. Sear those. 12 inch round I got for $6 at a garage sale. Square I got from my sister in law. The rest I got here and there. I also have a couple Dutch ovens. One with legs for use with charcoal.

I had two Coleman's , one from the 70s that finally bit it and a newer one that the grate warped immediately. Loved the 70s one the other not so much. Just like Jeeps I guess lol

Wont be breaking this one in till Fathers Day Weekend
