is the correct way? There wasn't hardly anything left of the ones I removed, I couldn't use them for reference. I checked and double checked the pdf. document on the web for instructions. Their way puts the metal sleeve on top. This would make for metal to metal rubbing; the probability of squeaking would be likely. The pictures show their way, but I have my doubts. What would be the difference if I put the sleeve in from the bottom? This would make the tub sit directly on the rubber bushing.
Next, picture 2803 shows the big "doughnut" lookin' one being put in the way the instructions call for, but on another CJ I looked at that particular bushing was mounted at the mount under the firewall, not the mount shown.
For the record, this way a Crown kit. It had 12 metal sleeves, 10 rubber rings, 12 rubber "mushroom" looking mounts, and 2 big rubber "doughnut" looking kind. Also, the pdf. off the website say to check section E for the parts list. Uh...there is no section E. But, I did track down another kit from a parts place that listed the quantities of each piece. My pieces match the correct amounts. Thanks for any assistance. When this is over I'll put up some pictures for the next poor unfortunate soul.
