Just discovered the power brake booster on my '79 CJ7 amc 360 has a vacuum leak. The current master cylinder seems to be fine, but does it make sense to replace both? I found this setup: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-760210/overview/make/jeep/model/cj7 but my current master has a larger reservoir for the front disc brakes. Will this one work? Just not sure how to ensure I'm purchasing the right master.

Also, does anyone have recommendations for where I can purchase the booster by itself if using the current master is a reasonable idea?

Thanks.

Is the booster leak internal?
I have seen leakage traced to the plastic fitting/gromment the vacuum hose attaches to. Mine did this.

If it were me I'd grab one from the bone yard.

Just curious, could this be put on a '75 CJ5 ?

Yes, if you have front disc brakes, or plan to install them.
