- 1978 CJ7 304, Th400, Quadra trac converted to part time and low range
I have a 1978 CJ7 with the AMC20 (QuadraTrac drop) in the rear and a stock Dana 30 in the front.
I'm doing a brake job all of the way around, and have run into something new.
When ordering brake calipers for the front, the parts store (Both major chains) have asked if I need the front mount caliper or the rear. One store said that it refers to if the caliper mounts in front or back of the axle, while the other said it is regarding the mounting holes on the caliper.
I have 11" rear brakes, and obviously front disk brakes.
Any help or experience on this?
