Brake Light Switch won't Work with New MC

As a part of my upgrade to front discs I upgraded my master cylinder to a vacuum assisted one. Turns out the push rod that attaches to my pedal was round on the old one. The new one is rounded on the back. Now the brake light switch won't activate because there isn't a flat surface. Has anyone ever run into this problem? Any other options out there that are easy to implement? TIA

You can plumb one into your brake line, pressure activated. It's not very difficult to do. Should be lots of good info on the net and YouTube examples.
