I have always loved jeeps and I have finally gotten the chance. I am getting ready to purchase an early 80's CJ7 that is in quite good shape (some rusty body panels is about it) and I need to firm up my engine plans. Not knowing anything in detail about jeeps I am hoping someone can point me to some great sites on rebuilding a CJ7 and lastly I have a very nicely tweaked Ford straight 6-cyl (about 530HP) and am wondering what mods are necessary to drop a ford 6-cyl into a CJ7 .

I'm running a Ford style T-19 in my rig with Advanced adapter.
With that setup you'd have to fab up some motor mounts, electrical connections & plumb up the radiator. Then fire that bad boy up!
You could bolt it up to a T-176 the same way, but the 1st time you get on a little Bye Bye.
