1969 CJ5 F-head, and completely stuck (I mean stock).
Well i have had my issues with my cj now, but its comeing along. I was able to fire it up today and ran for 10minutes or so. I have a small video. I had 2 problems 1)not getting fuel 2)not getting spark. Fuel problem was i had the small part of needle upside down, the piece that slides up in down in the bigger one. Spark issue i got a new coil, cap, rotor, points, condenser, wires, and plugs. I still could not start it. Ran a hot wire to +side of coil and bam fired right up. ran motor, and could not restart it using the hot wire method. I am happy she run, but flustered i cant start it. What could i be missing.

Trans I have a seventy eight CJ7 with a th400 transmission in it. Does anyone know where to find the linkage that bolts onto the frame for the transmission?
