Broken steering box mount bolts
got a 1979 CJ5 and come to find out the bolts on the bottom of the frame rail for the steering box mount to the frame are broke off. I am trying to drill out but getting kind of tough and not sure i will be able to get them out. I have heard its bad to weld the mounts to the frame, so i was looking for ideas on securing the mounts to the bottom of the frame. In addition the previous owner welded the winch mounts over the frame rails so i can even drill out to the broken bolts and replace with new bolts.
