Electric cars a so bad for the environment (as of now) because of the toxic waste and other by products used to manufacture batteries. Also, no tax revenue or roads and infrastructure because no taxes are paid because there is not fuel sold as well let alone we do not have a power grid that can support only all electric charging.

I'm sure it will come to be but it needs to evolve, not mandated.
