Can’t get the camshaft out.

Having a hard time getting the camshaft out. Looked in the manual and it seems I followed all the steps. It comes out a couple of inches and doesn’t go any further. Tried putting it back in and won’t go all the way in. What gives?

Yeah. I just had to finagle it the right way.

Lets see the cam lobes.
If they look like your mains-You may well have some major issues.
