Can anyone ID these seats?

I would say that the seats are out of a Renegade . In 1982 Jeep really loaded up the Renegade for a $999 upgrade charge. The only other thought is that they are from the Jamboree which was pretty jazzed up too.

can't find grey listed for any models 81-86
they look oem to me as evidenced by the bottoms.

they do look original but they are in really good shape for the age

I'm thinking late 80's wrangler. The seat design and stitching is identical to the seats in my 89 GW.

Those are some nice NON ORIGINAL seats. They were picked apart by the guys on a Scrambler forum I frequent. They are nice but not something the factory offered.

Heres a link to the Scrambler site thread. Also the seats that went with the Arctic White Jambos actually had white stripes while the gold had gold.

What did these come out of????

The Scrambler forum guys are wrong. They are a 83 Larado seat. I have the same seats here in AU so the chances of an upholstery shop making them is nil

Can you post up the vin plate on the firewall of your Cj so we can decode the interior option? Or if you dont feel comfortable with that just decode that section of it for the rest of us. With you having them in yours it could be very helpful to us. :)

The real question is who in their right mind would pay that much for them.

There is always "that guy" who is willing to pay for the rare stuff. Ive seen Jambo stuff go for crazy money. Those old Marchal lights that some Cjs came with? Ive seen them go crazy money too. Odd colors are another big money item. I still find these as a reproduction but I was wrong once or twice in a previous life. :D

The Larado decals are black/silver too.

Thanks a bunch for that. Can we see the rest of the Cj thats attached to that data plate. I'll have to try and decode it tomorrow. Too many 12 hr work days. I need some sleep.

Interesting VIN plate from down under. :D

I think they are Jeep seats that have been reupholsterd that color. Thats why they like new.

Darn I got up for work this morning hoping to see the rest of that Cj. :(

I made a sudden u-turn because I saw a white Jambo a few weeks ago. The guy bought it from an 80 year old man who was gifted a JK Rubicon from his wife. He bought it for $3.5k!!

An Olympic White Jambo for $3500? How complete and what shape? It mustve had some of the goodies if you saw enough to do a quick U-turn.
