Mr. Team Rush can you clarify what you mean by starter relay run on. The starter will not stop after you start the engine?

Jeep used two different ignition switches,
One was a split switch, which is correct for the Motorcraft ignition.

It has seperate 'Start' and 'Run' circuits.

Since Jeep used a GM steering column,
And GM vehicles didn't use a split ignition with the HEI systems,
The later ignition switches (and the replacements you get now) don't have the split in them.

If you still have the old split ignition switch, which most won't have anymore,
The power to the module will cause the starter relay to stay engaged when the key switch falls back to the 'Run' position.

The engine will also crank when you turn the key switch to 'Run' before you start...
Then a diode is needed at the module in the 'White' wire circuit,
Stripe facing the module.
It's a 50¢ diode and one time install.

This keeps 'Run' circuit from back feeding the 'Start' circuit.
