Can you tell me what this is?

This is out of a '73 CJ5 with a narrow-trac Dana 30 . After opening the front diff cover, this is what I find. Is this a locker of some kind and if so, what is it? I can't find any pictures resembling this thing. Any help is appreciated.

It looks most like a PowerLoc but can't be sure. There's not any electrical or air fitting fitted and It handles fine over the road. Still looking.
