Car buying advice
We have about 6 customers with the Prius. 0 complaints.
One "01 has about 190k,& has never had problems.
Maintenance is low cost, spark plugs every 120k.
I see one on the commute,& looks like he has no lack of passing ability.
Not that i'd ever own one, or anything like it. :D
I like the Deuce,& a half idea.
But, maybe it's just that my neck is really that red. :chug:
I had a prius for a month as a rental
I had a string of complaints

biggest one is that the vehicle has no soul, you will never hear a song written about how much someone loves their prius.
Second was the total dive by wire dis associates you from the road and gives lousy feedback
next was the stupid interior design
and the worst was the feeling that I was a limp wristed panty waisted 2 faced emotionally driven truth denying tree hugger every time I got in it
I turned it back in for another vehicle I kept for the next 4 months.

Ha, so what do you really think? :)

I am considering the TC. I drove the camaro, just too cramped inside, and terrible visiblity. Also gonna drive a Hyundai Koup, Cobalt SS, and Mazda 3 as well.

i can speak from experience you would be real happy with the TC, lots of options that are standard epuipment, pwr windows, locks, cd, tilt, cruise, sunroof all standard. good power (for a 4 banger), and lots of room for a 2dr coupe plus its a toyota (not affected by the recalls)

Anyone drive a mini cooper s? kinda expensive (up there with a speed3), but i like the looks.

Yep- trying to get my 10 mo. old out of the back of a 2 door civic sucks monkey nuts- did i mention I'm 6'2"?

i drive a 91 honda hatch to work and back. i just averaged 7L per 100 km's (sry guys im canadian eh!) and thats DAMB good when i gotta go 100 km's a day!

i keep my CJ for fun trips around town or the odd trip to work! tho she has to work alittle to turn 33's LOL

my vote goes to the mini S. that car is SICK. tho maintenance sucks nuts on it. 15 hours labour to replace the clutch :D. just so u know

well we wound up buying an 03 grand cherokee leather loaded V8, but here it is, its 2wd. i know its shameful to own a 2wd jeep but the wife likes it besides she wouldn't ever let me take it offroad anyhow. its one owner well maintained low mileage and we got a good deal on it, and the most important part is i'm not in a ton of debt on it so it works out i guess.

it is not shameful to have a 2wd Grand, it would be shameful to get one of the new 4 door Wranglers in 2wd, yet they are selling so many it is making it so you have to ask when someone tells you they just bought a 4 door Wrangler.

Got a bit of an update:

These are the cars I have driven so far and my take.

Cooper S and the Clubman. Very nice cars. The S is quite quick, the Clubman nice room. The Clubman S would run about 27,000!!!! So I'm out on that one. Also kinda felt like a chick car.

Wranger - If it had the new Pentastar engine I have been hearing about, I might bite, but I have no desire to ride in the anemic current version. The inside is not very Jeep like, but I would still have my 75 CJ to make me feel like a man  I do like the looks of the Islander!

Civic SI No power until you wind the engine to the stratosphere = no fun for me.

Ford Fiesta = 120hp = no fun at all.

Kia Koup sx. 173 horse, handles nice, looks great. I almost bought it. Got into an argument when the dealer lied to me - told me deal was done at my price and give him a deposit over the phone with credit card. Good thing I declined, when I entered the show room, the numbers all changed. No KIA for me now.

Camaro v6 - did not like the car at all. The clutch is crazy weird. I've driven nothing but manual tranny all my life, and I killed this thing like 5 times. Salesmen all told me that everyone does that hmmm. Also, felt like I was in a cave while driving, very small windows and cramped.

Mustang v6 - 2011 has 300hp. Nice ride. My current driver is a 98 Mustang GT, and this is way better. Add the performance package, and this may be the perfect deal. I'm waiting for the dealer to get a manual one to try, they only had automatics.

Considering the 2011 Scion Tc that will hit showrooms in October - they will now have 180hp...
